Justine Racht Dies After Being Airlifted to Hospital Following Crash on Highway 4
Brentwood, CA (August 13, 2020)– Both driver Jonathan Lyons and passenger Justin Racht died from injuries sustained in a crash on Highway 4.
The said crash took place on August 6 on highway 4 near Sand Creek Road at about 10:40 p.m.
The initial report showed a first fatality involving Jonathan Lyons, 27, an Antioch resident. A medical helicopter took Lyons to the hospital after the incident however, he never regained consciousness.
Moreover, Justin Racht, a 26-year-old Antioch resident was also airlifted to the hospital for treatments. Racht was a passenger in the green Dodge Challenger which reportedly rammed a guard rail and hit a freeway signpost.
Due to the impact of the crash, Racht succumbed to his injuries.
Furthermore, the cause of the crash is still unclear as the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
