1 Person Hurt in Redding Bicycle Accident on Hartnell Avenue and Cypress Avenue

REDDING, CA (October 2, 2024) – Tuesday morning, Justin Palomino sustained injuries in a startling bicycle crash on Hartnell Avenue and Cypress Avenue.

Reports said that the incident happened at around, 11:54 a.m. on Hartnell Avenue, south of Cypress Avenue.

According to the Redding Police Department, a southbound vehicle struck a westbound bicyclist who was illegally in the lane of traffic.

Moreover, responders transported the bicyclist, identified as 41-year-old Palomino, to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, authorities identified the driver of the vehicle as 44-year-old Kao Saechao.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
