29-Year-Old Justin Huston Hospitalized after DUI Collision in Santa Cruz
SANTA CRUZ, CA (January 7, 2019) – On Monday night, 29-year-old Justin Huston was injured after DUI crash on Bear Creek Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 10:55 PM, just east of Bear Mountain Road.
As per reports, 25-year old Tyler Sweeney was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. He lost control and swerved off the roadway into an embankment, which struck a tree and utility pole.
First responders arrived at the scene of the collision and transported Sweeney and his passenger, Huston, to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Officers stated they both suffered moderate injuries. The status of the occupants current medical condition is unknown at this time.
Authorities arrested Sweeney on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
