Justin Canada Fatally Injured in Yermo Solo-Car Accident on Calico Road
YERMO, CA (October 23, 2019) — A 34-year Victorville man identified as Justin Canada died after a solo-vehicle crash on Sunday, October 20.
The accident happened at around 6:15 p.m. while Canada and two passengers traveled southbound on Calico Road near Mule Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Canada reportedly lost control of his 1991 Jeep Cherokee.
The vehicle rolled over several times after leaving the roadway while traveling along a curve in the roadway. Emergency personnel announced Canada dead at the scene at about 6:37 p.m., coroner’s officials stated.
Two passengers, a 24-year-old person together with a 19-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in the crash. Paramedics rushed them to Barstow Community Hospital.
This incident is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Area.
