1 Person Hospitalized in Georgetown Bicycle Accident on Orleans Street

GEORGETOWN, TX (October 12, 2023) – Sunday night, Justin Aitkens sustained injuries in a disastrous bicycle crash on Orleans Street.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on Orleans Street.

According to CHP Officer Hugh Council, a northbound black 2008 Infiniti G35 struck a southbound bicyclist for still unknown reasons. Then, authorities reported that a verbal and physical altercation ensued between the bicyclist and the vehicle driver, 19-year-old David Miller, after the crash.

As a result, responders transported the 49-year-old bicyclist to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with a broken leg and nose, as well as lacerations to his face.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
