1 Person Dead in Tulare County Auto Accident on Road 180 and Avenue 208
TULARE COUNTY, CA (February 23, 2024) – On Wednesday, June Fisher of Strathmore sustained injuries in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Road 180 and Avenue 208.
The incident happened on Road 180 and Avenue 208.
The California Highway Patrol said that a southbound Ram 3500 failed to stop at the posted stop sign before entering the intersection and collided with an eastbound 2006 Nissan Maxima. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Nissan to collide with the stop sign while the Ram rolled over and came to the rest in the dirt field.
As a result of the crash, responders pronounced the 40-year-old male driver of the Nissan, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Ram to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities said that alcohol and/or drugs played no role in the crash.
At this time, the events that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
