Motorcycle Collision on Highway 2 Kills Two People
Coles Corner, WA (July 15, 2022) – On Thursday night, Julie Sullivan, 48, of Leavenworth, and Christopher Sullivan, 58, were involved in a fatal collision on State Route 208.
The fatal collision took place at about 10:30 p.m. near Highway 2.
According to the authorities, a 42-year-old person from Leavenworth and a female on a 2009 Kawasaki ZX 600 and a 1996 Ford F-150 were both southbound on the freeway approaching Highway 2.
Suddenly, the motorcycle rear-ended the pickup at a high rate of speed.
Responding officers declared the two motorcycle riders dead at the scene. Officers say they were both wearing helmets when the collision took place.
Moreover, the 1996 Ford F-150 driver, Julie Sullivan, and her passenger, Christopher Sullivan, did not sustain injuries.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating if drugs are alcohol was involved in the fatal collision on Highway 2.
