44-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Collision on 60 Freeway in Pomona
Pomona, CA (May 3, 2020) – Friday, 44-year-old Julian Moors was killed in a motorcycle crash on the eastbound lanes of 60 Freeway.
According to reports, a 29-year-old man from Compton lost control in his Mercedes Benz for unknown reasons. The male driver eventually swerved and struck Moors on his 2017 BMW motorcycle.
As a result of the impact, Moors was flipped and thrown into traffic. Subsequently, a woman driving a 2019 Kia ran him over. However, her identity is unknown.
As later noted by the CHP, none of the drivers involved in the early-morning crash were under the influence. According to the coroner’s office, Moors was a resident of Riverside, California.
Furthermore, the surrounding area on 60 Freeway was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
