SAN RAMON, CA (August 31, 2021) – Early Monday, Judy Airaksinen, 56, died in a pedestrian crash on 680 Freeway near Bollinger Canyon Road.
The authorities received a report of the crash just before 1:00 a.m. According to reports, the woman crossed 680 Freeway near Bollinger Canyon Road. Then, an SUV vehicle struck and killed the Concord pedestrian in the southbound lanes.
As a result, the authorities shut down the southbound lanes of I-680 during the investigation.
