SR 12 Accident Involves Flavio Paniagua
Naches, WA (March 16, 2022) – On Monday, 25-year-old Juan Sanchez Zapien of Yakima sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on State Route 12.
The incident took place at around 7 p.m. at Milepost 190.
Officers say 26-year-old Flavio Paniagua of Tieton was driving a black Audi and struck Zapien as he crosses the freeway. They say Paniagua left the scene but later returned.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed Zapien to Yakima Valley Memorial.
Paniagua, on the other hand, did not sustain injuries from the accident.
Officers are investigating the SR 12 accident.
