Leevi Creeley Involved in Fatal Big Rig Crash on SR 97
Toppenish, WA (April 26, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, 88-year-old Juan Romero of Sunnyside died in a tragic 2-vehicle collision on State Route 97.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the fatal crash happened at the intersection of State Route 97 and Larue Road.
Reports say that a semi-truck, driven by 28-year-old Leevi Creeley, and a car, driven by Romero collided.
Officials say that Creely escaped injuries, while Romero was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the fatal crash and have not released further details at this time.
