37-Year-Old Juan Rabago Faces Charges in SW Loop 410 Fatal Crash [San Antonio, TX]

Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident

San Antonio, TX (September 8, 2024) – 37-year-old Juan Rabago is facing charges following a SW Loop 410 fatal crash Friday evening.

It was about 6:45 p.m. when the deadly crash happened in the 4900 block area near New Valley Hi Drive.

Troopers said a 40-year-old woman was driving when her vehicle ran out of gas. The woman pulled over on the right shoulder and got out of the driver’s side of her vehicle. 

At the same time, Juan Rabago was driving a Toyota Tundra that crossed the solid white line and struck the woman.

Sadly, the woman was killed at the accident scene.

The suspect, Juan Rabago, remained at the scene and submitted to an intoxication assessment. The assessment determined he was intoxicated during the accident.

Later on, the arrested and booked Rabago into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on charges on intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle charge and an unlawful carrying of a weapon charge.

Moreover, the to Bexar County jail records states that Rabago was released on bond before 7:30 a.m. Sunday with a $75,000 bail.
