Injuries Reported in Wenatchee Auto Accident on Highway 97A

 
WENATCHEE, CA (August 8, 2022) – Saturday, a head-on crash on Highway 97A involved Juan Orrosco Sanchez.
 
36-year-old Juan M. Orrosco Sanchez drove a 2007 Toyota Corolla south on Highway 97A. Then, he drove across the centerline and crashed head-on with a 1988 GMC.
 
Then, the two vehicles stopped and blocked the southbound lane.
 
As a result of the crash, Juan Orrosco Sanchez and the driver of the GMC, a 63-year-old Renton man, sustained injuries. Thus, responders airlifted both of them to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
 
Meanwhile, officers noted that Orrosco Sanchez was driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Thus, troopers are seeking a charge of vehicular assault against Orrosco Sanchez.
