Fresno Motorcycle Crash Kills 2
Fresno, CA (May 12, 2024) – 60-year-old Juan Jaramillo of Fresno was killed in a pursuit crash on Ashlan Boulevard early Saturday morning.
It was approximately 1:30 a.m. when Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over a motorcycle rider for reckless driving.
Officers requested air support before the motorcyclist, 25-year-old James Baker, also of Fresno, drove into the intersection with Maroa Avenue at a high rate of speed.
The motorcycle then crashed into the sedan driven by Jaramillo.
Unfortunately, Jaramillo and Baker were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Court records show that Baker appeared in court for multiple counts of felonies and a misdemeanor.
