NEWARK, CA (January 13, 2022) – Monday night, Juan Gonzalez-Ramirez died in a DUI crash on Saint Isabel Avenue near Cedar Boulevard.
 
According to the Alameda County Fire Department, the incident happened at around 11:20 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Saint Isabel Avenue near Cedar Boulevard.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle for still unknown reasons.
 
Moreover, responders performed life-saving measures on a male passenger. Then, they transported the patient to a hospital. However, the patient, Juan Gonzalez-Ramirez died moments later.
 
Furthermore, officials confirmed that three more occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
 
Also, the authorities arrested the vehicle driver, a 24-year-old Newark resident on suspicion of DUI. They booked the driver into Santa Rita Jail.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
