Juan Gonzalez Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on 215 Freeway

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 14, 2021) – On Saturday morning, Juan Gonzalez, 42, died in a pedestrian crash on 215 Freeway near Center Street.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident began at around 11:40 a.m. The authorities received a report about a barefooted man standing on the right shoulder of the freeway near Center Street.
 
Minutes later, the man went to the center divider.
 
Furthermore, at around 11:45 a.m., another report came in that a vehicle fatally struck the same man.
 
Also, CHP diverted the southbound traffic off the freeway at Center Street.
 
The events leading to the crash are under active investigation.
