MOSES LAKE, WA (September 22, 2022) – Monday, Juan Garcia died in a two-vehicle crash on Randolph Road and Turner Road.
 
The incident happened on Randolph Road Northeast and Turner Road Northeast.
 
According to reports, Juan Garcia drove a 1998 Dodge Durango with 23-year-old Arianna Pimentel in the passenger seat. As Garcia left the parking lot of the Grant County Animal Outreach, he turned onto Randolph Road Northeast.
 
As he pulled out, a 2001 Kenworth Construction Commercial Vehicle pulling a trailer struck his car. 47-year-old Jeffery Mask driving the Kenworth headed northbound. Then, he hit the driver’s side of the car.
 
The impact sent both vehicles off the west side of the road. According to some eyewitnesses, they believe Garcia failed to yield the right of way to Kenworth.
 
Meanwhile, authorities declared Garcia dead at the scene.
 
Also, responders airlifted Arianna Pimentel to Central Washington Hospital in stable condition.
 
Mask suffered no injuries in the crash.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
