Juan De La Rosa Dead in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on Sycamore Canyon Boulevard
RIVERSIDE, CA (January 30, 2020) – A 32-year-old Moreno Valley male resident died in a pedestrian accident on Sycamore Canyon Boulevard.
On January 28, a car struck Juan De La Rosa as he crossed the road around 5:47 a.m. Dispatchers arrived to Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Eastridge Avenue shortly after. De La Rosa succumbed to death at 6:26 a.m. at Riverside University Health System Medical Center.
According to reports, the crash occurred when a 36-year-old Hesperia resident driving a 2016 Honda Accord south on Sycamore Canyon drove through a green light. After that, the car struck the pedestrian.
