Juan Conrado Leyva Dead in San Jose Accident on Highway 85 and De Anza Boulevard

 
SAN JOSE, CA (March 24, 2021) – Sunday morning, Juan Conrado Leyva died in a wrong-way crash on Highway 85 and De Anza Boulevard.
 
The chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles happened at around 8:00 a.m. According to reports, a 2010 Mazda 3 drove north in the southbound fast lane.
 
As the vehicle approached De Anza Boulevard, it crashed head-on with a 2011 Toyota Sienna minivan. As a result, the minivan spun into the adjacent lanes and crashed with a gray 2011 Kia Sorrento SUV.
 
Then, the debris from the crash hit a 2018 Mercedes C300 sedan.
 
The crash left 63-year-old Juan Conrado Leyva of San Jose with fatal injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the crash. Moreover, the authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the CHP’s San Jose field office at 408-961-0900.
