Police Investigate 3-Vehicle Fatal Crash on 91st Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ October 28 (October 29, 2023) – On Saturday evening, 39-year-old Juan Barraza died in a crash on 91st Avenue and Holly Street.

The fatal crash happened around 6 p.m. on October 28.

Officers arrived and found the motorcyclist, identified as 39-year-old Juan Barraza, injured on the road. 

He was treated by firefighters but died at the scene.

According to police, the drivers of the other two vehicles remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

Investigators said, a car was traveling northbound on 91st Avenue when it turned left onto Holly Street in front of Barraza, who was traveling southbound. 

Barraza then collided with the car, fell from his motorcycle, and was struck by another vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing as investigators continue to evaluate evidence of the accident.
