Santa Ana Man Juan Ayala Killed in Westminster Crash
Westminster, CA (June 20, 2021) – On Saturday, 23-year-old Santa Ana Man Juan Ayala died in a high speed crash on Newhope Street.
The deadly Westminster accident happened at 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of McFadden Avenue.
Apparently, Ayala’s silver sedan slammed into a parked car at such a high rate of speed. The crash caused a chain reaction of parked car crashes.
Unfortunately, Ayala was pronounced dead at the scene.
“At this point, we have a witness who identified the driver of a hit and run in Santa Ana,” Westminster police Sgt. Phoung Phan said.
That collision happened about two miles away from the second accident scene.
Meanwhile, police said a witness to the hit-and-run accident followed the driver and saw him crash into the other vehicles.
