PHOENIX, AZ (July 22, 2020) – Saturday night, 30-year-old Josue Soto died in a pedestrian crash on Van Buren Street.
 
Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson revealed that a white 2007-2010 Saturn Outlook hit Josue Soto. The crash occurred on July 18th while Soto crossed Van Buren Street in a marked crosswalk east of 33rd Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that there were no signal lights at the intersection.
 
Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle didn’t stop and drove east on Van Buren Street.
 
Moreover, responders transported Josue Soto to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
