34-Year-Old Joshua Jones Arrested after DUI Car Accident in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (February 19, 2019) – On Tuesday night around 7:20 PM, 34-year-old Joshua Jones was arrested after a DUI crash on Conant Avenue near Veneman Avenue.
 
According to Modesto Police Department, Jones struck a vehicle and walked away from the scene. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
 
Authorities stated Jones was driving with his daughter at the time of the collision. He took his daughter out of the vehicle and walked away. Soon after, officers found Jones and his daughter a few blocks away. No one was injured in the crash.
 
Law Enforcement arrested Jones on suspicion of child endangerment and driving under the influence.
 
The surrounding area was closed for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened. In addition, no further details have been disclosed to the public.
