Joshua Hulse Dead in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 70 [Boone County, MO]

1 Person Dead in Boone County Auto Accident on Interstate 70 and Mile Marker 117

BOONE COUNTY, MO (July 18, 2024) – Tuesday morning, Joshua Hulse died in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70.

The incident happened on Interstate 70 at Mile Marker 117.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala rear-ended an eastbound 2024 Freight liner Cascadia tractor-trailer that slowed down because of a crash ahead. Then, the force of the crash lodged the Impala under the trailer

Moreover, the Boone County medical examiner pronounced the driver of the Impala, identified as 22-year-old Hulse of Columbia, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued to investigate the crash.
