Joshua Hogue ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Van Buren Boulevard [Jurupa Valley, CA]

Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident at Van Buren Boulevard and Belgrave Avenue

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 2, 2019) – Authorities identified 35-year-old Joshua Hogue of Riverside as the motorcyclist killed in a crash in Jurupa Valley, early Friday morning.
 
According to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station, the incident happened shortly before 3:00 AM. The eastbound rider failed to slow down for the red light at Van Buren Boulevard and Belgrave Avenue. There, the motorcycle collided with a southbound Honda, starting a fire.
 
Cal Fire Riverside personnel attempted life-saving measures. Unfortunately, Hogue succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, the unidentified Honda driver did not suffer injuries from the collision. Also, he remained to render aid and cooperated with investigators.
 
Investigators ruled out drugs and alcohol as possible contributing factors. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
