Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in DUI Collision Near Seneca Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 20, 2019) – Police arrested 43-year-old Joshua Drake of Victorville after a hit-and-run crash on Hesperia Road on Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the intersection of Seneca Road about 8:37 PM.
 
Based on a report, the suspect involved in a single-vehicle collision involving his 2018 Ford Mustang that hit a curb and a sign. Police found him hiding after he fled from a hit-and-run crash.
 
After that, police evaluated him at a local hospital before booking him into High Desert Detention Center for obstructing/resisting an officer. In addition, police are charging him with driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
An investigation is ongoing to identify and locate the hit-and-run vehicle.
