Joshua Brandon of Oakland Killed in Interstate 80 Vehicle Collision [Richmond, CA]

Officers Respond to Deadly Crash on Richmond Parkway Off-Ramp

Richmond, CA (January 26, 2023) – On Wednesday, Joshua Brandon, 28, of Oakland, died in an Interstate 80 vehicle collision.

The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at about 10:25 p.m., west of the Richmond Parkway off-ramp.

Responding authorities located Brandon lying in the roadway outside the overturned vehicle. 

CHP said Joshua Brandon in a Mercedes was traveling at an unsafe speed when it rear-ended a Honda in the eastbound lanes and rolledover.

Officers are investigating how Joshua Brandon ended up in the westbound lanes where he was hit by a Nissan.
