LANCASTER, CA (March 9, 2021) – Sunday night, Joshua Bermudez, 43, died in a hit-and-run accident on West Avenue M.
 
According to reports, deputies came to the 2300 block of West Avenue M at 10:10 p.m.
 
“Palmdale Station received the call of a possible hit-and-run,” said a sheriff’s department statement. “When deputies arrived, they discovered a man suffering from trauma to his head. Officers pronounced him dead at the scene.”
 
At this time, the coroner’s office identified the man fatally struck by the vehicle as Joshua Bermudez, of Lancaster.
