DUI Crash on Highway 503 Injures Joseph Hagg and Passenger in Cowlitz County
Cowlitz County, WA (March 30, 2021) – On Saturday, 42-year-old Joseph Hagg and his passenger, 32-year-old Amy Galofteanu, both from Camas, were injured in a DUI crash on Highway 503.
Apparently, at 9:13 p.m., Hagg was driving a 2008 Nissan Titan pickup north on the spur highway. Suddenly, his vehicle went off the road and overturned.
His pickup truck finally rested in a ditch.
Right away, rescuers took both of them to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
Officers said neither of the vehicle’s occupants were wearing a seat belt during the crash. Also, they consider drugs or alcohol to have played a role in the accident.
Driving can be very dangerous if you are not driving in a safe and legal manner. This is especially true if you are driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. It is important to always abide by all driving laws and to do your part to prevent DUI accidents as the consequences can be devastating for you and for others.
