Yosemite Parkway Crash Suspect Joseph Alexander Arrested

 
Merced, CA (March 26, 2021) – On Thursday, police arrested 22-year-old Joseph Alexander in a hit-and-run crash on Yosemite Parkway wherein a motorcyclist was seriously injured.
 
Officers responded to the crash scene at about 2 p.m. at the 2000 block area.
 
When officers arrived they located a motorcycle and an adult male in the roadway.
 
Moreover, the motorcyclist received treatment from fire and rescue personnel.
 
After obtaining a description and partial license plate for the vehicle, an officer was able to locate the suspected vehicle. Also, the officer was able to find the driver in the area of Highway 140 and Dale Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, Alexander, the driver admitted to being involved in the crash.
 
The motorcyclist was flown to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
