Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash on East Grant Road and North Alvernon Way in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (May 15, 2022) – On Saturday, 30-year-old Josef Carlisle Nicholai Carisbarone died in a motorcycle crash on East Grant Road and North Alvernon Way.
The crash happened on May 8, last Sunday.
Tucson Police said Carisbarone was traveling northbound on North Alvernon Way in the curb lane approaching East Grant Road on a green light.
Moreover, when Carisbarone entered the intersection the Ford Focus was making a left turn southbound Alvernon Way onto eastbound Grant Road in front of the motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to turn on its side and collide with the Ford.
EMS took Carisbarone to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but he died on Saturday, May 14.
The driver of the Ford did not show any signs of impairment at the time of the crash.
