64-Year-Old Jose Valles Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Rufe Snow Drive [N Richland Hills, TX]

N Richland Hills, TX (October 15, 2024) – 64-year-old Jose Valles lost his life following a hit-and-run crash on Rufe Snow Drive Sunday evening.

The fatal collision involving a drunk driver and the victim happened in the area of Boulevard 26. 

Daniela Valles, the victim’s daughter said she was inside her house and had just said goodbye to her dad, who was going to get in his vehicle parked on the street. 

She suddenly heard a big boom, ran out of the house, and found Jose Valles on the ground. 

Immediately, Jose Valles was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries and later died. 

The accident report stated the victim’s vehicle was also sideswiped. 

Moreover, the North Richland Hills police said the suspect driver didn’t stop.

Luckily, the witnesses chased down the suspect and the authorities arrested them. 

The driver will be booked into the Tarrant County jail with charges of intoxication manslaughter, collision involving death, leaving the scene, and failure to render aid. 

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating how fast the suspect was going when the collision happened.
