Evening Two-Car Crash at Alessandro Avenue and Ramona Expressway Injures Three
SAN JACINTO, CA (May 20, 2019) – Three people were injured following a two-car crash Monday evening in San Jacinto.
The crash happened around 8:25 p.m. at the intersection of Alessandro Avenue and Ramona Expressway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped at the stop sign on northbound Alessandro Avenue at the T-intersection with Ramona Expressway before beginning a left turn onto Ramona.
A blue 2019 Lamborghini Huracan that was heading eastbound struck the driver’s side of the Tahoe. There was no signal on Ramona Expressway, officials said.
The driver of the Lamborghini, a 35-year-old Jose Jovel of San Jacinto, suffered a possible broken leg. His wife and only passenger sustained a minor head injury.
The driver of the Tahoe, Jose Suarez, 38, of San Jacinto, suffered non-life-threatening injury.
All three were transported to a hospital for treatment.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
