Alleged DUI Resulted to Multi-Vehicle Collision on Rockaway Beach Avenue, Jose Rivera Arrested
Pacifica, CA (July 28, 2020)– On Sunday, Jose Rivera was arrested for DUI, which caused a collision on Rockaway Beach Avenue.
North County Fire Authority firefighters responded to the incident on July 25, Saturday.
Around 10:10 p.m., police said they received a report of the collision on Highway 1 at Rockaway Beach Avenue.
At the scene, they found at least three damaged vehicles.
Police reported that one driver was uninjured; however, the second driver was hospitalized for sustaining injuries.
Furthermore, the third driver, identified as Jose Rivera, 30, from San Francisco, showed signs of impairment.
Later, he was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, causing bodily injury.
Moreover, Rivera’s injuries were treated at the hospital and he was booked into the county jail after that.
