Troopers say that the head-on crash happened about 6 p.m. on SR 28 at milepost 31.

Reports say that Reyes-Preciad while driving a Nissan sedan crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Chevy.

Authorities say that Jose Reyes-Preciado was driving while intoxicated.
