Jose Ochoa Jr Killed in Southern Avenue Pursuit Crash [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (October 11, 2023) On Monday afternoon, 34-year-old Jose Ochoa Jr died and a woman was hurt in a pursuit crash on Southern Avenue.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the deadly crash happened around 3:30 p.m. near Southern Avenue and State Street, in East Los Angeles.

Reports say that deputies were chasing a Range Rover when the driver of the Rover collided with several other vehicles.

Officials say that Ochoa Jr, driving a Nissan Sentra died at the scene, while a female in a Toyota 4Runner was injured.

Authorities say that they have arrested one of the suspects in the Rover, however 2 other suspects remains at large.
