19-Year-Old Jose Molina Dies after Multi-Vehicle Crash on 75th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (October 30, 2022) – Sunday morning, 19-year-old Jose Molina died, and four others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 75th Avenue.

The fatal multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix happened at around 5:30 a.m. on October 30 near Camelback Road.

Phoenix Police said Molina is believed to have been driving north on 75th Avenue in the southbound lanes.

Moreover, Molina allegedly crashed into three vehicles while driving in the wrong direction.

As a result, two people from one vehicle were taken to the hospital. The male driver had non-life-threatening injuries and a female passenger had critical injuries but is expected to survive.

The drivers of the third and fourth vehicles each had minor injuries.

Investigators said impairment is currently unknown at this time. Intoxication will be determined through a postmortem blood analysis.

Further investigation into this deadly crash is ongoing.
