Injuries Reported in Laredo Vehicle Crash on 4500 Emma Lane
LAREDO, TX (March 7, 2024) – Tuesday night, 51-year-old Jose Luis Lopez sustained injuries in a crippling auto accident on 4500 Emma Lane.
The incident happened at 6:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of Emma Lane.
According to reports, a 2020 white Chevy Camaro struck a backyard fence. Afterward, the driver hit the victim, 51-year-old Lopez, in the backyard at the time. Then, he was dragged to his next-door neighbor’s yard.
After the crash, the victim broke his back, and legs and was transported to a San Antonio hospital.
Then, reports said that the 25-year-old driver attempted to avoid striking a vehicle by pressing on the brakes. However, he pressed on the gas, leading to the crash.
Also, officers cited the driver for failure to control speed.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
