Jose Lucero of Riverside Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 215 [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (November 22, 2024) – Jose Lucero, 23, of Riverside, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 215 Wednesday afternoon.

The deadly traffic collision happened around 3 p.m. on the southbound freeway near Center Street.

Investigators said Lucero was driving at an unknown speed when his motorcycle collided with a big rig. The motorcycle overturned in the fast lane and Lucero was thrown onto the pavement.

A trauma surgeon stuck in the traffic provided resuscitative measures to the motorcyclist until the paramedics arrived. 

Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
