Patterson, WA (September 21, 2022) On Wednesday morning, a collision between a car and a big rig on SR 221 injured 36-year old Jose Lopez Ruiz of Mexico and 24-year old Adrian Brambila Ramirez of Sunnyside.
WSP say that the car-big rig collision happened at about 11 p.m. four miles north of Paterson.
Reports say Ramirez on a southbound car crossed the center line, collided into the semi-truck drivern by Lopez Ruiz.
Paramedics transported bith drivers to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, officials say that the collision caused the semi-trucks cargo of onions to spill all over State Route 221.
