Jose Juan Rosas Jr. of Wasco Dies in Tractor-Trailer Accident
Bakersfield, CA (September 11, 2021) – On Friday, 18-year-old Jose Juan Rosas Jr. of Wasco died in a Wildwood Road tractor-trailer crash.
Officers said the fatal semi-truck accident took place at about 7:15 a.m. at the intersection with Sherwood Avenue, wherein the deceased drove a 2017 Mazda.
He drove at 70 MPH; however, once traffic stalled ahead, Rosas Junior could not stop in time to avoid colliding with the back of the trailer truck.
Right away, responders blocked the road to attend to the accident.
The authorities are still investigating the crash, but the CHP says drugs and alcohol did not contribute to the deadly Wildwood road crash.
