Jose Hernandez Cruz Killed when SUV Crashes into Parked Vehicle on San Jacinto Avenue [Nuevo, CA]

Man Killed in Rollover Accident on San Jacinto Avenue ID’d as Jose Hernandez Cruz

 
NUEVO, CA (September 16, 2019) – Authorities identified 31-year-old Jose Hernandez Cruz of Perris as the man killed in a rollover accident on San Jacinto Avenue, early Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 1:00 AM. Due to unknown reasons, Cruz’s 2004 Cadillac Escalade slammed into an unoccupied Ford Expedition parked near Lava Way. Then, the Escalade overturned, ejecting Cruz onto the roadway.
 
The Riverside County Fire Department paramedics pronounced Cruz dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
 
Investigators ruled out alcohol as a factor in the fatal crash. The CHP will release additional information once it becomes available.
