Jose Fraijo Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on West River Road [Tucson, AZ]

Jose Fraijo Dies in Crash on West River Road and North La Canada Drive in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (May 31, 2022) – Sunday night, 26 year-year old Jose Fraijo died, and one driver sustained injuries in a crash on West River Road and North La Canada Drive.

The fatal two-vehicle crash in Tucson happened at around  10 p.m. on May 29. 

Tucson Police said a Kia Sport Utility Vehicle was on La Canada in the left turn lane to go on River Road when a Kawasaki motorcycle collided with it in the intersection.

Fraijo died at the hospital. The Kia driver sustained minor injuries.

Neither driver was impaired or speeding.

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation is ongoing.
