Jose Estrada Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on East Baseline Road [Rialto, CA]

55-Year-Old Rialto Man Identified as Hit-and-Run Victim near North Sycamore Avenue

RIALTO, CA (November 6, 2018) – A man was killed Tuesday evening following a hit-and-run crash on East Baseline Road near North Sycamore Avenue. The victim was later identified as 55-year-old Jose Estrada, a resident of Rialto.

According to the Rialto Police Department, the male pedestrian was found unresponsive on East Baseline, at about 8:42 PM. Events that led to the collision were not immediately available.

Estrada suffered severe injuries and trauma, likely caused by a vehicle. Despite aggressive life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 8:56 PM. Meanwhile, the involved vehicle did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the area.
