ROYAL CITY, WA (October 7, 2021) – Tuesday morning, Jose Castrejon Barragan and six others suffered injuries in a crash on State Route 26.
 
51-year-old Jose Castrejon Barragan of Moses Lake drove a 2015 Chevrolet Express van east on State Route 26.
 
Then, he slowed down to turn left onto Dodson Road. However, he turned into an oncoming 2005 Ford Focus and hit the driver’s side of the vehicle.
 
As a result, both vehicles stopped and blocked the westbound lane.
 
Responders transported Jose Castrejon Barragan to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Meanwhile, they took his four passengers to either Othello Community Hospital or Samaritan.
 
Moreover, responders airlifted the 37-year-old driver of the other vehicle to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for his injuries.
 
Furthermore, the state patrol cited Castrejon Barragan for failing to yield the right of way.
