Jorge Valles of Turlock Injured in Fatal Crash on Rohnert Park Expressway [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (September 24, 2022) – On Friday morning, 26-year-old Jorge Valles, of Turlock, sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on Rohnert Park Expressway killing a Petaluma woman.

At about 1:53 p.m., the authorities responded to the crash scene east of Stony Point Road.

According to the officers, the collision was between a Honda CRV driven by a woman and a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Jorge Valles.

Apparently, Jorge Valles was eastbound on Rohnert Park Expressway while the Honda traveled westbound. Jorge Valles made an unsafe left turn and crossed into the oncoming lane. As a result, his vehicle collided with the Honda.

The rescue team extricated both drivers from their vehicles and rushed them to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries. 

Sadly, the Honda driver died upon arrival at the hospital. Officers withheld the woman’s identity pending notification of her family.
