Jorge Jimenez Fatally Hurt in North Hollywood Train Accident
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 3, 2019) — A North Hollywood man identified as Jorge Jimenez died in a train crash on Monday, September 30.
According to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash happened 11000 block of West Vanowen Street around 1:15 p.m.
A Ventura County Line 109 train bound for Moorpark struck 33-year-old Jimenez.
The train was stopped between the Burbank Airport-South and Van Nuys stations during the investigation.
