Jordan Mickell Dies after Crash on Smith-Enke Road in Maricopa

Maricopa, AZ (August 20, 2021) – Early Friday morning, a 23-year-old Jordan Mickell died in a vehicle-pedestrian crash on Smith-Enke Road.

The fatal crash in Maricopa happened at around 4 a.m. on August 20, between Province Parkway and Desert Greens.

Maricopa Police said Mickell was walking in the lane of traffic when struck by a vehicle.

Maricopa officers performed CPR until firefighters arrived, pronouncing the victim dead on the scene

Investigators said the driver who struck Mickell showed no signs of impairment.
