Man in Motorized Wheelchair Killed in Fontana Pedestrian Accident on Foothill Boulevard

 
FONTANA, CA (May 30, 2020) – Wednesday evening, Jonathan Rodriguez surrendered after a fatal hit-and-run crash on Foothill Boulevard.
 
The police came to the scene around 9:41 p.m. When the officers arrived, they discovered a 55-year-old man down at the scene. His identity wasn’t disclosed. However, he reportedly succumbed to his injuries.
 
According to investigators, the 55-year-old man was riding a motorized wheelchair on Foothill Boulevard when the crash occurred.
 
Meanwhile, 31-year-old driver Jonathan Rodriguez escaped the crash scene in a white 2004 Ford Taurus. The police confirmed that they found the vehicle near the crash scene.
 
Moreover, Jonathan Rodriguez of Fontana later surrendered at the Fontana Police Department.
