Juan Pablo Chavez Injured after Crash on South Loop 338 in Ector County
Ector County, TX (September 28, 2023) – On Thursday, 31-year-old Odessan Jonathan Pete Fuentes-Wilson died in a crash on South Loop 338.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said Fuentes-Wilson, driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, was traveling westbound on South Loop 338.
While Juan Pablo Chavez, driving a 2013 Ford F-150, was going eastbound on South Loop 338.
Fuentes-Wilson, according to the crash report, failed to drive in a single lane and swerved into the eastbound lane, striking Chavez.
Fuentes-Wilson died at the crash scene.
DPS said Fuentes-Wilson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Chavez was transported to Medical Center Hospital and is in stable condition.
